The MHD112A-024-NG1-BN is a new-generation industrial synchronous motor manufactured by highly trained engineers of Rexroth Indramat to convert electrical energy into the kinetic energy required by industrial machines for optimum operation. This motor is designed according to the IP65 protection class, it features a durable housing unit that offers it optimum protection and allows it to operate smoothly in industrial conditions considered unfavorable for convectional industrial machines. The MHD112A-024-NG1-BN industrial synchronous motor is supplied with a special flange designed according to DIN 42948, this flange allows for the direct integration of the motor into any position in the servo system. The output shaft of this industrial motor is also designed to supported high radial loads, this makes the direct overhung mounting of pinons and belt pulleys to the industrial motor possible.
The MHD112A-024-NG1-BN industrial synchronous motor can be operated with a continuous input current of 8.3 or 9.4 amperes depending on the prevailing housing or winding temperature. Also, the maximum input current of this industrial motor is about 37.4 amperes, at this current, this industrial motor rotates at a speed of 4000 revolutions per minute. The MHD112A-024-NG1-BN is a permanent magnet excited motor, the permanent magnets present in this motor are made from rare earth materials, this makes it possible for the motor to be designed with low interia mass.
The MHD112A-024-NG1-BN industrial synchronous motor contains an industrial servo feedback mechanism which converts the physical operation of the motor into digital signals that can be interpreted by the drive controller and used to monitor the operation of the motor in real time, this feedback mechanism features an internal battery that hold operational information and aids the quick start-up of the motor when it is required for operation.
