Product Description
Bosch Rexroth offers the global drive industry different servo motor options, all of which can be adapted to suit multiple applications. In the MHD series, there are permanent magnet servo motors designed especially for the creation of rapid-response automation systems. These systems are created by combining the servo motors with intelligent digital drive controllers by the company.
The MHD095C-058-NP0-AN is one of the models of permanent magnet synchronous motors in the Bosch Rexroth MHD series. It uses digital servo feedback to obtain information on the relative indirect position of the motor. This information is used to control the motor’s speed and position it accurately. It is an integrated encoder unit; hence, there is no need for a separate absolute value encoder. The motor’s output shaft is one with a keyway according to DIN 6885 and a radial shaft sealing ring according to DIN 3760 - Design A. The materials used to construct this shaft sealing ring are sturdy and highly resistant to oils and chemicals.
The Ingress Protection Rating of the MHD095C-058-NP0-AN according to EN 60529 is IP 65. The motor is completely closed and cannot be penetrated by dust or water jet sprays from all directions. Thus, it can be used with a significantly reduced risk of damage in adverse environmental conditions. It has a nominal speed of 4,000 revolutions per minute and a maximum speed of 6,000 revolutions per minute. The direct overhung mounting of pinions and belt pulleys is permitted in this motor is supported, as its bearing is designed for high radial loads. Also, its cables come in sets of various designs, making its cabling a highly simplified task.
