The MHD095B-035-PP0-AN is an MHD servo motor model constructed with permanent magnet materials that give it low inertia. Its electrical commutation allows it to be used for continuous start-stop operations with high repeat frequencies. With a frame size of 095, the flange size of this motor is 140 mm to 150 mm, while its centering diameter is 130 mm. Its top speed is 4,000 revolutions per minute, and its theoretical maximum torque is 66.0 Nm. Thanks to the effective dissipation of heat from its stator windings, it has a high overload capability. It also has a temperature monitoring system that prevents damage due to excessive heat.
The cooling of the MHD095B-035-PP0-AN is with natural convection or surface cooling, which is enhanced by the motor’s design. It is enclosed in completely closed housing so that it cannot be penetrated by solid extrinsic materials or water. This also allows it to be safely operated in harsh environmental conditions. The motor is coated with a black prime coat resistant to weathering, coloring, chalking, and chemicals like diluted acids and lyes. It also features a shaft with a shaft sealing ring and a keyway according to DIN 6885-1 for connecting machine elements to be driven.
