Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is the brain behind the MHD class of permanent magnet synchronous servo motors. They are digital AC servo motors that work well with the digital drive controllers manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. Together, they can be used to build high-efficiency automation systems that are used for a variety of applications such as machine tools, paper processing and printing machines, handling, and automation systems, and food processing and packaging machines
The MHD095B-035-PG1-AN is a servo motor in the MHD series designed to be used as a servo and main drive motor. It is equipped with electrical commutation, making it possible to use it for continuous start-stop operations with high repeat frequencies. It also has a temperature monitoring system that protects it against damage due to thermal overload. The heat generated by the motor is managed by dissipation through natural convection or surface cooling. The design of the motor’s housing supports this cooling mechanism, and it is completely sealed, making the motor touch-proof, dustproof, and impermeable to sprays from the water jet. Hence, it has a protection rating of IP 65 according to DIN VDE 0470.
The output shaft of the MHD095B-035-PG1-AN is the basic type with a shaft sealing ring. It aids the smooth running of the motor and ensures a friction-locked shaft hub connection without play. This motor can achieve a maximum speed of 4,000 revolutions per minute with a theoretical maximum torque of 66.0Nm. Its holding brake is electrically released and has a holding torque of 22Nm. The motor’s encoder system is digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder and has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes.
