Product Description
Giving its customers the needed quality for highly productive work is a clear priority for Bosch Rexroth with the grade of products that make up its portfolio. One of the lines of such products is the MHD series of synchronous motors, a range of low-inertia, permanent magnet motors. These servo motors can be used to set up ultra-efficient automation systems, especially when combined with the digital intelligent drive controllers also manufactured by Bosch Rexroth.
The MHD093C-058-PP0-RA is a Bosch Rexroth synchronous motor in the MHD line of servo motors. It has a flange size of 150mm and a centering diameter of 130mm, making it a motor of frame size 093 based on the Bosch Rexroth dimensions. To control the motor’s speed and to evaluate its position, a digital servo feedback system with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder serves as its encoder system. It also uses a shaft with a keyway according to DIN 6885 and a radial shaft sealing ring according to DIN 3760 - design A. The shaft connects machine elements to be driven to the motor’s shaft.
To prolong the service life of the MHD093C-058-PP0-RA, Bosch Rexroth manufactures it as a self-cooling motor that dispels heat by natural convection or surface cooling. It is also equipped with a temperature monitoring system that protects it from thermal overload. In addition, heat is easily dispelled from its stator windings to the walls of its housing, making it a motor with a high overload capability. Its brushless design makes it a maintenance-free motor, coupled with its bearings that remain grease-lubricated throughout their operational lifetime. The maximum speed of the motor is 6,000 revolutions per minute.
