The MHD093C-058-NG1-BA is a synchronous servo motor. It is part of the MHD product line from Bosch Rexroth. The motor supports integrated digital servo feedback. This feature enables the motor to share information with the drive controller. This shared information – or feedback – allows the controller to control motor operating parameters and keep them in line with programmed motor parameters. The MHD093C-058-NG1-BA includes a 22 Nm holding brake. This brake is used to stop shaft movement until a 24 Volts DC release signal is applied. The housing of the MHD093C-058-NG1-BA is designed for natural convection or surface cooling. For the 60 K temperature condition with natural convection, the rated torque at standstill is 23 Nm, the rated current at standstill is 28.3 Amps, the rated torque is 7.9 Nm and, rated current is 6.9 Amps and the rated speed is 2000 RPM.
For the 100 K temperature condition with natural convection, the rated torque at standstill is 28 Nm, the rated current at standstill is 34.5 Amps, the rated torque is 9.1 Nm, the rated current is 7.9 Amps and the rated speed is 3500 RPM. The motor power connection on the MHD093C-058-NG1-BA is on side B or the motor housing. The wire size recommended for the 60 K and 100 K conditions is 2.5 mm2. The shaft is plain and includes a sealing ring. The completely enclosure housing and the shaft seal are factors that lead to the IP65 protection rating of the motor. The recommended ambient conditions for motor operation include altitudes of up to 1000 meters and 0 to 40 degrees Celsius temperature. The permitted temperature for motor storage is -20 to 80 degrees Celsius.
