Product Description
The MHD093C-035-PG0-BA synchronous motor used in food and paper processing machines features a brushless design. The motor from Bosch Rexroth also has bearings that are lubricated with grease that lasts its lifetime. It also has high dynamics because of a favorable torque-to-inertia mass ratio. The device will discharge high electrical voltage if the connections are not made correctly. The surface of the unit can become very hot during operation and can cause burns or injury if handled without care. The product must be stored horizontally with the plastic protective sleeve on the drive shaft intact if it is to be kept unused for a long time. During transport, the motor should only be lifted horizontally using cranes that have lifting sling belts.
The motor can be installed in any orientation. The synchronous motor features a peak current rating of 83.5A and a theoretical maximum torque of 88Nm. The device must not be used in non-ambient operating conditions and it cannot be used underwater. The unit must be turned on only after the guards and covers provided with it are installed to avoid contact with any live part during operation. Components of the motor with live parts must be installed in a control cabinet or any other similar protective housing.
The synchronous motor is connected with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder that generates digital servo feedback. This device also encompasses a plain shaft that is fitted with a shaft sealing ring. The unit has a characteristic motor speed of 3,000min-1 at both 60K and 100K and a rated frequency of 167Hz. The power connector is located on the side-A of the motor. During operation, the device has a leakage current of more than 3.5A. The motor is supported by a one-year warranty and can be shipped internationally.
