MHD093C-035-NG0-AA is a high-performance servo motor. It is part of the MHD product line from Bosch Rexroth. Operators can use the motor with surface cooling or convection cooling. With convection cooling, the rated continuous torque at standstill is 23 Nm and the continuous current is 18.5 Amps. The rated speed is 2500 RPM, the rated torque is 9.1 Nm, the rated current is 5.2 Amps, the rated power output is 2.9 kilowatts, and the rated voltage is 322 Volts. With surface cooling, the rated continuous torque at standstill is 34.5 Nm and the continuous current is 27.8 Amps. The rated speed is 2500 RPM, the rated torque is 26.2 Nm, the rated current is 14.9 Amps, the rated power output is 8.5 kilowatts, and the rated voltage is 342 Volts.
The recommended power cable size for convection cooling is 1.5 mm2. The recommended power cable size for surface cooling is 4 mm2. Thermal time constant for the MHD093C-035-NG0-AA motor is 75 minute with convection cooling and 35 minutes with surface cooling. Mass of the servo motor is 23.5 kilograms. It has a 140 millimeter flange for mounting. The main motor shaft is plain and features a sealing ring. Digital servo feedback is supported and allows precise motor speed and position control. The motor gets power via a cable connected to the power connection located on side A of the housing. Holding brakes are available as optional features for MHD motors. However, the MHD093C-035-NG0-AA motor is not equipped with a holding brake. Bosch recommends that motor handling, installation and operation should only be performed by trained personnel.
