The MHD093C-024-PG2-BA model provides high operational reliability due to its brushless design and IP65 protection standard. The model is specially designed to deliver the continuous power of 2.7 – 4.4 kW at natural cooling mode while consuming the rated current of 4.9 – 7.8 A and while operating at surface cooling mode the module delivers the rated power of 6.7 kW at the rated current of 12.1 A. The MHD093 synchronous motor comes with a 24 VDC clamping brake which generates the clamping torque of 32 Nm by consuming the rated current of 0.93 A. The connection and disconnection time of the motor holding brake is 15 microseconds and 115 microseconds. The MHD093 synchronous motor housing is varnished with a prime black coat and applying any additional coating on the motor housing is not allowed. The design category of the motor is B05 and it can be mounted in the horizontal or vertical direction. A shaft sealing ring is placed to avoid leakage and the continuous torque is delivered via a plain output shaft.

The model MHD093C-024-PG2-BA with a 60-K increase in housing temperature (at natural cooling), delivers the constant torque of 23 Nm while consuming the constant current of 14.1 A whereas, with a 100-K increase in winding temperature the motor consumes 17.8 A of rated current to deliver the constant torque of 28 Nm. The model with surface cooling mode delivers the constant power of 34.5 Nm by drawing the constant current of 21.6 A, with a 60/100-K increase in motor temperature. For absolute position detection, an optical encoder (multiturn) with digital servo feedback is installed in this motor. The motor is supplied with a B-side power connector.
