The MHD093C-024-NP0-BA model is specially designed to deliver the continuous torque of 27.4 Nm at surface cooling mode while operating at the continuous current of 12.1 A. The MHD093 synchronous motor is designed to control its ambient temperature through natural convection (under ideal working conditions) and surface cooling (under extreme working conditions). For surface cooling, a blower unit is attached radially/axially to the synchronous motor that uses surrounding air to control the overall temperature of the motor housing. The MHD093 synchronous motor can produce the continuous torque of 23 – 34.5 Nm while drawing the continuous current of 14.1 – 21.6 A. The maximum bearable temperature for motor housing is 60K and 100K for motor winding. The synchronous motor operates at its full efficiency when operating under the specified temperature limit. A B-side power connector is installed in this module to take electrical power from AC 320 – 339 V power source with 50/60 Hz of operating frequency. The motor is designed as per high protection standards (IP65) and is insulated by insulation class-F.
The model MHD093C-024-NP0-BA operates at the rated speed of 2000 rpm and delivers the power of 2.7 – 6.7 kW under natural and surface cooling modes. The 4 pole pairs of the synchronous motor generate the rated inductance of 9.15 mH at 20 degree Celsius. The MHD synchronous motor is designed as per UL standards and a digital servo feedback system is installed in this model. For continuous power output, a rotor balanced with an entire key is placed in this motor. The motor can be mounted under the ambient temperature range of 0 to +40 degree Celsius.
