Product Description
The Rexroth MHD093B-065-NP0-BA is a servo motor. MHD servo motors are permanent-magnet motors with electronic commutation. Special magnet materials permit these motors to be designed with low inertia masses. Servo motors are used with drive controllers to provide cost-effective systems with an extensive functionality for several fields of application which include, packaging machines and food, paper and printing industries, automation and handling as well as machine tools. Use of the MHD093B-065-NP0-BA has numerous advantages. Some of which are high dynamics (owing to the favorable ratio of torque to inertia mass), easy attachment to the machine (owing to flange according to DIN 42948), direct overhung mounting of pinions and belt pulleys (owing to the bearing being designed for high radial loads). All safety measures must be followed when working on components having a servo motor. The components should be switched off before working with electrical parts having voltages higher than 50 Volts. Prevent the operation of high-frequency, remote control and radio equipment near electronics circuits and supply leads.
The MHD093B-065-NP0-BA motor weighs 19 kilograms. It has an IP65 protection making it safe from dust and water at lower pressures provided the power and encoder cables are properly mounted. Its operation temperatures should be between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius while it can be transported and stored at temperatures between -20 to 80 degrees Celsius. It should be setup at a maximum height of 1000 meters above the mean sea level. It has a Digital Servo Feedback (DSF) motor encoder and is without a holding brake. The driven shaft is with a shaft key ring per DIN 6885-1. The output power connector is to side B and the servo motor housing is a natural convection or surface cooling model.
