Product Description
The MHD Series by Bosch Rexroth is essentially synchronous motors with electronic communication. This technology features a permanent magnet that makes it both durable and reliable. This particular series is available in several configurations that include specifications like, holding brake, cooling method, motor feedback, and also the output shaft. This maintenance-free series of motors are fully sealed with bearings that last a lifetime.
For the MHD093B-058-PP1-AN model, you can expect moderate torque which is ideal for high-end automation in machine centers and precision robotics. There are three cooling options for this motor; naturally cooled, surface cooled, and liquid-cooled designs to choose from. The surface cooled design makes use of an air blower while the liquid cooling uses a coolant to regulate the motor temperature.
The naturally cooled design features the 60k and 100k variations that give off 7.1Nm and 9.1Nm of toque with power ratings of 1.7kW and 4.1kW respectively. In comparison to the former, the surface cooled motor offers better performance with a torque of 15.0Nm and a performance rating of 7.6kW. Finally, the liquid-cooled motor is the most powerful of the three given its superior cooling abilities. The liquid-cooled motor delivers a torque of 24.7Nm and a performance rating of 12.7kW. As far as the nominal speed of the motors, the 60k naturally cooled motor operates under 2500 RPM while the rest at 4000 RPM. The frequency on the other hand is rated at 167 Hz for the 60k model of the naturally cooled motor, while the rest are rated at 267 Hz. The MHD093B-058-PP1-AN is also equipped with digital servo feedback with an integrated multi turn absolute encoder.
