The Bosch MHD093B-058-PG1-LA is an advanced synchronous servo motor. It comes with integrated support for digital servo feedback. The motor features an integrated multiturn absolute encoder. The function of the encoder is to measure motor parameters such as torque and speed and send this information to a connected drive controller. Multiturn encoders are suited to applications that require measurement of degree of rotation and the total number of rotations. Multiturn encoder are also suited to applications that involve coordinated axes that are offset. The MHD093B-058-PG1-LA housing is designed for natural convection or surface cooling. Other motor features include a holding brake and a plain shaft with a sealing ring. The sealing ring is a factor that contributes to the excellent IP65 protection rating of the servo motor.
