The MHD093B-058-NP0-AN model comes with 4 pole pairs and is highly recommended to be used in high torque applications such as machine tools, packaging machines, robotics, and printing machines. The MHD093 synchronous motor has a winding inductance of 3.2 mH that contributes in generating the continuous torque of 5.4 – 8.1 Nm (at natural convection) and 24.7 Nm (at liquid cooling). The motor takes input power directly from the AC 200 – 347 V power source, supplied by the respective drive controller and the rated performance of the motor is 1.7 – 12.7 kW. At natural cooling mode, the synchronous motor consumes the continuous current of 22.5 – 26 A at a standstill position to deliver the rated torque of 17.5 – 20 Nm. During liquid cooling mode, the motor produces the continuous torque of 33.3 Nm while drawing the continuous current of 42.8 A. At liquid cooling mode, a coolant (water) is supplied to the motor at the flow rate of 1.3 l/min to dissipate the rated heat of 900 W. The volume of the liquid cooling duct of the MHD093 synchronous motor is 0.05 liters.
The model MHD093B-058-NP0-AN is supplied without any holding brake. To control the speed and position of the motor, a DSF (digital servo feedback) is installed in this motor. The model comes with electronic commutation and it provides high dynamics under extreme loading conditions. The model can be installed in IMV1, IMV3, and IMB5 mounting positions and the flange size of the motor is 140/150 mm. According to the documentation, the surrounding temperature range of the motor should be kept between 0 to +40 degree Celsius at the peak installation height of 1000 meters above sea level.
