The MHD093B-035-NG1-BA motor is a permanent magnet motor that uses an electromagnetic field to stimulate rotational movements. The electromagnetic field generated by this motor can interfere with the operation of important medical devices such as cardiac pacemakers, hearing aid, and metal implants; to prevent industrial accidents, persons wearing any of these devices should not be allowed to operate the motor. The MHD093B-035-NG1-BA motor connects to the drive controller through two major types of electrical cables; the power cable and the motor feedback cable. These two cables should be properly shielded to reduce electrical interference in the servo system.
