The MHD093B-035-NG0-LA model is designed to operate on both natural and surface cooling modes. Under normal operating conditions the motor operates at the natural cooling mode in which it consumes 350 – 360 V of input voltage to deliver the continuous power of 2.7 – 4.7 kW. Under extreme loading conditions, the MHD093 synchronous motor operates at the surface cooling mode in which the motor consumes 374 V of rated voltage to deliver the constant power of 6.6 kW. In surface cooling mode, a blower unit is attached to the motor for cooling purposes. The maximum overtemperature range for motor housing is 60K and 100K for motor winding. The MHD093 synchronous motor is capable to deliver the nominal torque of 8.8 – 20.9 Nm while consuming the nominal current of 4.6 – 10.8 A, at the input voltage frequency of 167 Hz. The motor is widely used in various industrial sectors such as machine shops, printing industries, textile mills, and food-processing units. The MHD motor housing is painted with a black color to protect it from harsh climatic conditions. A sealing ring is also placed along the plain output shaft to avoid oil leakage.
The model MHD093B-035-NG0-LA is equipped with digital intelligent servo feedback for controlling the speed and position of the MHD093 synchronous motor. The climatic conditions specified in the user manual are +40 degree Celsius operating temperature, class-F insulation, and 1000 meters installation height.
