The MHD093B-035-NG0-BA model is widely used in the international market to operate commercial and industrial machinery such as machine tools, food-processing units, printing machines, and robotics. The model is not equipped with any clamping brake and a B-side power connector is placed at the top of the motor to take AC 350 – 374 V power source. The MHD093 synchronous motor operates at the rated speed of 2500 rpm to deliver the rated torque of 8.8 – 14.5 Nm at natural convection mode whereas, at surface cooling mode the motor produced the continuous torque of 20.9 Nm. The continuous current used by the motor is 4.6 – 7.7 A (at natural cooling mode) and 10.8 A (at surface cooling mode). At 20 degree Celsius, the winding resistance of the MHD093 motor is 1.26 Ohms and the winding inductivity of the synchronous motor is 10.7 mH. A plain output rotor is placed in the motor to deliver the rated power output of 2.7 – 6.6 kW. The HSF motor encoder is installed for accurate position detection. The MHD093 synchronous motor comes under the IP65 protection category and can be used under adverse climatic conditions.
The model MHD093B-035-NG0-BA is capable to perform at its full efficiency under the temperature range of 0 to +40 degree Celsius, without derating. The theoretical maximum torque produced by this motor is 66 Nm while operating at the maximum speed of 4500 rpm. Under high-torque operating conditions, a blower unit is attached to the motor for the surface cooling option.
