The MHD093A-058-PP0-AA is an electric servo motor designed to provide high-speed rotational movements to various industrial production machines. It is designed by highly trained engineers of Rexroth Indramat according to American and European quality standards; thus, it can operate in adverse and potentially explosive areas. The motor has a wide range of performance; it is covered with black paint, which protects it from corrosion and rust when it makes contact with water and dilutes chemicals. The MHD093A-058-PP0-AA synchronous motor also operates with four pole pairs of permanent magnets that generate the rotor's movement when an electric current is passed through the rotor windings.
The MHD093A-058-PP0-AA motor has a cylindrical output shaft designed with a completely fitting key that balances the keyway and connects the output shaft with the shaft of the connected load. The output shaft generates a power of 1.9 kilowatts when a continuous current of 12.8 Amperes is transmitted through the rotor windings. The rotational movements of the rotor shaft are controlled by an electronic commutator, which produces a unidirectional speed.
The MHD093A-058-PP0-AA motor uses lifetime lubricated bearings which reduce the friction generated in the rotor. The motor also offers simple and fast start-up operations with digital servo feedback, which is designed with a data memory to function in the accurate transmission of positional information on the output shaft, and producing a feedback response, correcting the position of the load on the shaft to the desired position. This servomotor runs a glitch-free operation with a heat regulation mechanism that ensures the maintenance of the internal temperature of the electric motor. It dissipated the generated heat through the surface of the housing of the motor through natural convection.
