Product Description
Bosch Rexroth provides services in the development and manufacturing of reliable and cost-efficient tools for various industrial and commercial sectors.
The MHD093A-024-PG2-AA model is specially developed to perform under extreme ambient conditions and to delivers continuous power with high precision and accuracy. The MHD093 synchronous motor is supplied with natural convection or surface cooling option and it takes 325 – 348 V AC input power through the A-side power connection. The power connector is located at the top of the motor and it can also be ordered with sealing air connectors. The motor is completely protected against solid dust particles and low-pressure water jet projected by the nozzles. The MHD093 synchronous motor comes with electronic commutation that allows continuous start-stop operations and is also known as a permanent magnet motor. The model provides high dynamics and overload protection due to a motor temperature monitoring sensor. The motor is widely used in various motion control systems. The motor is specially designed to be used in industrial machinery and it can be installed in any desired mounting position. The motor comes with a B05 flange having 140/155 mm of flange size with 130 mm centering diameter.
The model MHD093A-024-PG2-AA delivers the nominal torque of 8.3 – 11.2 Nm (at natural convection) and 15.7 Nm (at surface cooling) while consuming the nominal current of 3.7 – 5.3 (at natural convection) and 7 A (at surface cooling). The thermal time constant of the MHD synchronous motor is 20 – 40 mins. A 32 Nm holding brake is installed in this motor that operates at the rated voltage of 24 VDC and consumes the rated current of 0.93 A. The approximate weight of the motor is 14.5 kg, excluding the weight of the blower unit (1.2 kg), holding brake (2.4 kg), and mounting kit. An encoder with digital servo feedback is placed in the motor for indirect position detection of the plain output shaft. The permissible temperature range for the MHD093 motor is 0 to +40 degree Celsius.
