The MHD093A-024-NG1-BN model comes with a B-side power connector which is situated at the top of the motor and helps in developing the electrical connection directly from the AC 325 – 368 V power source. The ideally operating frequency for this motor is 133 Hz and it can be ordered with natural convection or liquid cooling option. The MHD093 synchronous motor is equipped with a 22 Nm electrically released holding brake to hold the servo-axis during the de-energized period and a plain rotor with a shaft sealing ring is placed in this unit. At natural cooling mode, the synchronous motor delivers the continuous power of 2.1 kW (at 60K) and 2.8 kW (at 100K) while drawing the rated current of 3.7 – 5.3 A. The MHD093 synchronous motor operating at liquid cooling mode delivers the continuous power of 5.5 kW while drawing the rated current of 9.4 A. The model operating at natural cooling mode dissipates its heat to the ambient air and the motor operating at liquid cooling mode dissipates its heat to the circulating coolant to maintain its ambient temperature.
The model MHD093A-024-NG1-BN is specially painted with a black coat to protect it from reactive elements and adverse climatic conditions. The motor is completely protected under the IP65 protected standard and is equipped with digital servo feedback. The MHD motor can be installed in IMB5, IMV1, and IMV3 mounting position and it can deliver the rated torque of 1.77 Nm/A at 20 degree Celsius. The motor comes with 4 pole pairs and is widely used as a servo and main drive motor. The maximum permissible operating temperature of this motor is +40 degree Celsius under the relative humidity of 90%.
