MHD071B-061-NG0-UN is a Bosch Rexroth servo motor. It is part of the MHD product line. MHD motor applications include handling and automation, printing machines, paper machines, machine tools and packaging machines. MHD motors support electronic commutation which add to reliability and allows their use in environments where brushed motors cannot be used because of safety concerns. MHD motors have a flange for secure mounting. Four mounting holes on the flange allow secure machine attachment. Size of the flange on the MHD071B-061-NG0-UN motor is 115 millimeters. The housing is safe from water directed at the motor from low-pressure jets. MHD motors support optional holding brakes. A brake is however not installed on the MHD071B-061-NG0-UN motor. MHD motors work in combination with a compatible motor controller that supplies power and controls motor speed, torque and position.
