Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MDD AC servo motor series are permanent magnet-excited synchronous motors with electronic commutation and a wide range of functions. They are used in conjunction with intelligent Rexroth Indradrive systems to create cost-effective and rapid-response automation systems. There are different motor models in this series with different degrees of torque and speed. Their functions include tool machines, textile machines, printing and packaging machines, robotics, handling equipment, and transfer facilities.
The motor feedback of the MDD117A-N-030-N2L-130PB0 is digital servo feedback. This permits a relative indirect position evaluation of its speed and the detection of its rotor position. It has a data memory for reading and storing the motor's data. This motor is equipped with a shaft with a keyway according to DIN 6885-1 for form-fitting shaft-hub-connections. It guarantees high contouring accuracies at high feed rates, in particular when used for cutting in high-speed ranges. Temperature monitoring in this motor is via a temperature sensor built into its stator winding.
Due to the construction of the MDD117A-N-030-N2L-130PB0, it has a high degree of operating reliability. It runs a maintenance-free operation thanks to its brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings. The motor’s housing is painted with a black prime coating, which is resistant to weathering, yellowing, chalky build-ups, diluted acids, and lyes. It has an Ingress Protection Rating of IP 65 per DIN 40 050. This means that it is protected against contact with high voltage, penetration of external objects, and water damage from water jets. Its operation should be at an ambient temperature between 0°C and 40°C and maximum relative humidity of 95%. The motor should also be mounted at a maximum height of 1,000m above mean sea level.
