The MDD115D-N-015-N2L-180GB0 is a MDD series servo motor from Bosch Rexroth. In combination with digital controllers, MDD motors are widely deployed for industrial applications involving tools, textiles, printing machines, robotics and handing machines. MDD servo motors are permanent magnet-synchronous motors with electronic commutation. The permanent magnets of the rotor are made of rare-earth or iron oxide magnetic materials. The use of such materials makes it possible to manufacture low inertia motors. The high operational reliability of MDD motors is due to maintenance-free operation, an IP65 rated housing and integrated temperature sensor that prevents overload damage. The motor is delivered with a nameplate attached to the motor housing. If a second nameplate is ordered, it is placed over the original nameplate with double-sided tape. Both nameplates are on the housing of the motor.
The motors must be stored in a dust-free, shock-free, and dry environment. The permissible temperature range for motor storage is -25 °C to + 85 degrees Celsius. There are protective covers on the connector housing as well as on the output shaft. These protective covers are made of plastic and protect against moisture and physical damage. Operators must take care to remove the protective covers only when the motor is ready for mounting into the machine. The MDD115D-N-015-N2L-180GB0 is a motor with 1500 RPM nominal speed rating. It supports digital servo feedback and is equipped with a smooth main output shaft. The main power connection is towards side B. The MDD115D-N-015-N2L-180GB0 motor supports convection cooling and surface cooling. Centering diameter of the MDD115D-N-015-N2L-180GB0 motor is 180 millimeters. The motor does not include a blocking brake. Only qualified personnel should handle the motor and associated equipment.
