The MDD115D-F-015-N2M-130GB0 is an MDD synchronous servo motor designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is enclosed in a sealed housing that ensures its protection so that it can be used directly within the working area of the machine even under poor environmental conditions. Its power and feedback cables are also made to suit the IP 65 Ingress Protection rating according to DIN 40 050. To improve its operational reliability, it has a brushless design and bearings that remain lubricated throughout their service life. These allow the servo motor to be operated maintenance-free. Thanks to its digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder, its absolute, indirect position can be evaluated. The encoder replaces separate absolute encoders and retains the information, even after power is shut off. It also has a data storage feature that files parameters to accelerate the motor start-up.
