Product Description
Designed to be used in high-power industrial applications, the MDD115C-F-020-N2M-130PA1 from Rexroth Mannesmann Engineering is an MDD servo motor that can be used with Intelligent digital drive controllers from INDRAMAT. This servo motor is designed to be used in textile, production, manufacturing, machine tools, handling, robotics, and other various industries. Since this particular model is part of the MDD115 series, it is designed for highly dynamic applications such as punching machines, heavy roller machines, or tool changing machines that may require high levels of rotational torque and may consume high levels of current for operation.
This motor is a permanent magnetic AC servo motor that relies on electronic commutation to power up the coil, which then generates the required force needed for the rotor to rotate at the required speed and force. The motor has a speed rating of 4000 rotations per minute while generating a rotational force of 14.5 Nm continuously. At the maximum speed of 9000 rpm, this servo motor is capable of providing a rotational torque rating of 45.1 Nm while consuming a maximum current of 164.8 Amperes.
This motor is designed to be lightweight as it weighs approximately 16.5 kg and is compact, making it easier to fit in tight spaces. The motor has dimensions of 140 mm x 327 mm x 140 mm and can be mounted using a flange mount with a M8 to M12 screw size. The power connector port along with the encoder connection is placed on the top of the motor facing side A of the motor, which is the front of the motor. The cable thickness for this servo motor is 2.5 mm² cross-section and should be between 8 to 14 AWG.
