The MDD115B-N-030-N2L-130PB1 has a high power density, and this makes it suitable for highly dynamic applications such as roller feeds for pressing, punching, and nibbling machines and tools changing devices. Its motor feedback is digital servo feedback that permits a relative indirect position recording of the motor. It also evaluates motor speed and detects the rotor position with high precision. It is equipped with a 45.0Nm blocking brake for a backlash-free holding of the servo axis when the machine is powered off. It belongs to the normal balance class N as specified in DIN VDE 0530 and this makes it suitable for normal applications.
The electrical connections of the MDD115B-N-030-N2L-130PB1 are standardized to minimize cable diversity. However, recommended cables by Bosch Rexroth should be used for the motor. It has two electrical connections: the power and feedback connection. The power connection has a connecting cable for the temperature sensor and another connecting cable for the blocking brake. The motor can be used under poor environmental conditions and within the working area of the machine. This is because the motor housing is completely sealed. Also, its power cable and feedback cable are constructed according to the protection category IP 65.
