Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s intelligent drive controllers ensure the creation of rapid-response automation systems, especially when they are combined with digital AC servo motors like those in the MDD family. This series of permanent-magnet synchronous motors are built with high torque density and overload capability. They are also used to set up drives that are used in textile industries, machine tools, handling equipment, transfer facilities, robotics, and printing and packaging machines.
The MDD115B-N-020-N2L-180GA0 is a digital AC servo motor in the MDD series of highly functional servo motors. Like others in the series, this model guarantees high contouring accuracies at high feed rates, especially when it is used for cutting in high speed ranges. With its brushless design, it is designed for maintenance-free operation and features bearings that stay grease-lubricated throughout their service life. These bearings are built for high radial loads; hence, pinions and belt pulleys can easily be directly attached to the shaft. This MDD motor also features electronic commutation, giving it a high cyclic load capacity.
The weight of the MDD115B-N-020-N2L-180GA0 is 41kg. It has a nominal speed of 2,000 revolutions per minute and a theoretical maximum torque of 118.2Nm. It is balanced according to the standard Balance Class N based on the DIN VDE 0530 requirement. The motor also supports mounting as per Design B5, that is, with throughholes, and mounting per Design B14, where the mounting flange is with threads. Its encoder system is digital servo feedback of ±0.5 angular minutes system accuracy. The encoder is equipped with a data memory that ensures the rapid startup of the motor and its smooth and safe adaptation to its drive controller.
