Product Description
The MDD Digital AC servo motors represent the latest technological innovations by INDRAMAT. These devices feature varying continuous torque and speeds, ensuring a high degree of versatility. When used with the INDRAMAT drive controllers, they create excellent automatization systems. The MDD motors are also used in robotics, textile machines, printing and packaging machines, equipment and transfer facilities, and machine tools. They are constructed with permanent magnets made from rare-earth or iron oxide magnetic materials; hence, they are characterized by low inertia.
The MDD115B-N-020-N2L-130GA2 is a model of the MDD series. It is suited to high-precision applications with a high degree of synchronism. Also, it has a mass of 41kg and a nominal motor speed of 2000min⁻¹. It is cooled off via natural convection or surface cooling and is designed for high radial loads. The motor’s efficient heat dissipation methods endow it with a high overload capability. Because of its airtight housing, it can also function properly under adverse weather conditions. At a temperature of 20°C, it works with torque constant and winding resistance values of 0.90 Nm/A and 0.16 Ohm, respectively. In addition, it has a high power-to-weight ratio due to its compact construction.
According to DIN VDE 0530, the MDD115B-N-020-N2L-130GA2 is a product of balance class N. It features a digital servo feedback encoder that evaluates the relative indirect position of the motor. The information generated by the encoder is stored in the drive controller and can be transferred to the NC master control. In addition, this motor is compatible with both axial and radial blowers units. It also has a brushless design and inbuilt temperature sensors designed to protect the motor from overheating.
