Product Description
In the bid to preserve its legacy in high quality product development and excellent customer service, Bosch Rexroth pays special attention to the design of its drive and motion control units. This reflects in the features of the MDD digital AC servo motors. These permanent magnet servo motors have different continuous torque and speed values for a wide range of applications. The permanent magnets used in the construction of their rotors are made from magnetic materials of rare earth or iron oxide, allowing the motors to have a low inertia. They also permit continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates.
The nominal speed of the MDD115B-N-015-R2L-130GA2 is 1,500 rotations per minute. It has a winding inductance value of 9.2mH and a maximum torque of 118.2 Nm. At 20 oC, its winding resistance is 0.39 Ohm and its torque constant is 1.40 Nm/A at that temperature. Its housing design supports cooling by natural convection and surface cooling. It also belongs to the R balance class as specified in DIN VDE 0530, section 14 (2/93 edition). Its centering diameter is the standard 130mm and it is equipped with a 60 Nm blocking brake. This blocking brake allows its plain output shaft to be held at a standstill when power is off.
Protection from damage due to temperature overload is made available in the MDD115B-N-015-R2L-130GA2 by the presence of temperature sensors built into its motor windings. The sinusoidal application of current with the motor’s feedback resolution gives it high synchronous operation features. Its compact build also allows it to be installed in any position in addition to the high power to weight ratio that it features. This product can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
