Product Description
Bosch Rexroth's MDD motors are manufactured for a wide variety of functions due to their unique design. There are nine motors with different continuous torques, speeds, and applications in the MDD synchronous motor series. When combined with intelligent drive controllers from Bosch Rexroth, they create cost-effective and rapid response automation systems. They are suitable for several functions, including machine tools, textiles machines, printing and packaging machines, robotics, handling equipment, and transfer facilities.
The MDD115A-N-030-N2L-130PB0 is a motor in the MDD digital AC servo motor series with a high power density. This makes it suitable for highly dynamic applications such as roller feeds for pressing, punching, and nibbling machines and tools changing devices. Its compact build and high power-to-weight ratio allow it to be installed in any desired position. The motor is equipped with a shaft with a keyway according to DIN 6885-1, used for form-fitting shaft-hub-connections. It also has a high overload capability due to efficient heat conduction from the stator windings to the outside wall of its housing.
Cooling is via natural convection and surface cooling in the MDD115A-N-030-N2L-130PB0. Its nominal speed is 3,000 rotations per minute, and its centering diameter is the standard 130mm. The motor’s housing design is standard in construction and design and follows the guidelines of the DIN 40050. It can be used safely under poor environmental conditions and within the machine's working area. This is because the motor housing is completely sealed. Its operation should be at an ambient temperature between 0°C and 40°C and maximum relative humidity of 95%. The MDD motor should also be set up at a maximum height of 1000m above mean sea level.
