Product Description
To create cost-effective automation systems, Bosch Rexroth developed a class of digital AC servo motors like those in the MDD series. When these servo motors are combined with the innovative digital drive controllers from INDRAMAT, such systems can be obtained. The MDD servo motors are low-inertia permanent magnet motors with varying degrees of continuous torque and speed. They ensure high contouring accuracies at high feed rates and can be used for diverse applications.
The MDD115A-N-015-N2L-130PA0 is a high-performance servo motor model in the MDD series by Bosch Rexroth. It has a nominal speed of 1,500 revolutions per minute and a maximum theoretical torque of 87.1Nm. With its brushless design and the integration of lifetime-lubricated bearings in its design, it functions as a maintenance-free motor with a high degree of operational reliability. The motor’s encoder system is digital servo feedback with the optical measurement method, and it allows the relative indirect position evaluation of the motor. It has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes and features a data memory where the motor’s parameters are stored.
Because of its housing design, the MDD115A-N-015-N2L-130PA0 can be cooled by natural convection and surface cooling. It is dynamically balanced in terms of Balance Class N according to DIN VDE 0530, which is suitable for typical applications. The centering diameter of the motor is 130mm, and it is equipped with a shaft with shaft sealing and a keyway, according to DIN 6885. The shaft helps it achieve form-fitting torque transmission. With its high power density, it is particularly suited for highly dynamic operations such as roller feeds for pressing, punching, and nibbling machines and tool changing devices. This product can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
