The MDD112D-N-040-N2L-130PB2 is a MDD series AC servo motor. Together with intelligent digital drive controllers from Bosch Rexroth, digital AC servo motors from the MDD series create cost-effective and rapid-response automation systems. Drives with MDD motors are especially well suited for applications such as tools, textiles, printing and packaging machines, robotics, handling equipment and transfer facilities. MDD112 motors such as the MDD112D-N-040-N2L-130PB2 are especially well suited to high-precision applications e.g. in grinding machines where an extreme degree of synchronism is required. The rated speed of the MDD112D-N-040-N2L-130PB2 motor is 4000 RPM. It is available in a housing with standard design that is suited to natural convection and surface cooling. The motor supports digital servo feedback. The main shaft includes a keyway as per DIN 6885-1. The keyway prevents relative rotation, which leads to effective torque transfer.

The brake operates i.e. releases the shaft when a 24 Volts DC signal is applied. The brake draws 1.35 Amps nominal current.
