Product Description
Bosch Rexroth has engineered the MDD motor series - digital AC servo motors that facilitate exceptional precision in motion control and ensure highly accurate contouring at swift feed rates. These servo motors, when coupled with digital drive controllers from INDRAMAT, enable the development of automation systems that are both cost-effective and highly responsive. The MDD motor series finds extensive applications in a wide range of industries, such as textiles, materials handling, printing and packaging, robotics, and transfer facilities.
The MDD112D-N-030-N2M-180PA2 is a size 112 AC servo motor with a remarkable power density. This attribute makes it ideal for deployment in dynamic applications. It adopts the standard housing design, allowing natural convection and surface cooling to serve as the optimal cooling methods. The motor runs at a nominal speed of 3000 min-1 and belongs to the Balance class N, as prescribed by DIN VDE 0530. At 20° C, the motor's windings resistance and torque constant are 0.10 Ohms and 0.63 Nm/A, respectively. Additionally, it comes equipped with digital servo feedback, integrating a multiturn encoder to enhance its functionality.
Encased in a black prime coat, the MDD112D-N-030-N2M-180PA2 is equipped with a blocking brake that provides a 40 Nm torque. It features a Side A output direction that allows for easy power connection. The motor can tolerate an ambient temperature of up to 45° C. However, during transportation or storage, it must be kept within a temperature range of -20 to +80° C to ensure proper functioning. The motor's protection level adheres to DIN 40 050 standards, indicating that it carries a protection degree of 1P 65. This means that it is safeguarded from dust penetration and high-pressure water jets.
