Product Description
Bosch Rexroth MDD digital AC servo motors are permanent magnet-excited synchronous motors with electronic commutation. There are nine motors in the series, all of which have specific advantages for application-specific functions. They can be combined with the Indramat digital drive controllers to form cost-effective and rapid-response automation systems. They are used in tool machines, robotics, handling equipment, and transfer facilities.
The motor feedback of the MDD112D-N-030-N2L-180PA3 is digital servo feedback. It allows the relative indirect evaluation of the motor's position and stores it in the intelligent digital drive. This integrated feedback system functions with high precision because it uses the optical measurement method. It also has a memory for reading and storing the motor's data. The motor has a nominal speed of 3,000 rpm and is suitable for high precision operations, where an extreme degree of synchronism is required, such as in grinding machines. It is equipped with a shaft with a keyway according to DIN 6885-1, used for form-fitting shaft-hub-connections.
Due to its temperature sensor, the MDD112D-N-030-N2L-180PA3 is protected from damage by thermal overload. This motor has a high overload capability due to efficient heat conduction from its stator windings. Its housing design allows for cooling by natural convection and surface cooling. Hence, it is suitable for operations that involve extreme loads and continuous start-stop operations with a high level of repetitive frequency. Also, its housing varnish is a prime black coating that is resistant to weathering, yellowing, chalky buildup, diluted acids, and lyes. Its operation should be at a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C, maximum relative humidity of 95%, and it should be set up at a maximum height of 1000m above mean sea level.
