Product Description
Bosch Rexroth boasts of a long history of producing solutions in the motor industry. Their products are trustworthy as they have been tested to ensure safety and reliability. MDD digital AC servo motors by Bosch Rexroth are used with intelligent drive controllers from Indramat to create cost-effective and rapid response automation systems. These motors guarantee high contouring accuracies at high feed rates, especially when cutting in high-speed ranges.
The MDD112D-N-020-N2M-130GA2 is used for high precision applications where an extreme degree of synchronism is required, like grinding machines. Its motor feedback is digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn encoder which allows an absolute indirect position detection on the motor. It is equipped with a plain output shaft which allows a backlash-free and non-positive transmission of the torque. It has a temperature sensor built in its windings to monitor its temperature and prevent overload damage. It is also equipped with a 40.0 Nm blocking brake which prevents it from moving when the machine is powered off.
The housing of the MDD112D-N-020-N2M-130GA2 is standard and adheres to the protection guidelines of the DIN 40050 in construction and design. It protects against contact with high voltage with motor parts either moving or alive (contact guards), the penetration by extrinsic objects, and the penetration of water. The housing is painted with a black prime coating that protects against weathering, yellowing, chalky build-ups, diluted acids, and lyes. The housing enables heat dissipation by natural convection, giving it a high overload capability. The motor power cable and the feedback cable connections are constructed as per protection category IP 65. It should be operated at an ambient temperature of 40°C and installed at 1000 m above mean sea level.
