Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MDD digital AC servo motors are permanent-magnet excited motors which vary in size, continuous torque and speed. These motors are combined with Indramat drive controllers to form optimal, rapid-response automatization systems suitable for various applications. These applications include machine tools, textile machines, handling equipment, printing and packaging machines, robotics, and transfer facilities.
The MDD112D-N-015-N2M-130GA1 is an MDD motor type, and it can perform maintenance-free operations due to its brushless design and life-long lubricated bearings. Its motor encoder is digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn encoder, which evaluates the absolute indirect position of the motor's rotor. This information is vital to the drive controller in regulating the motor's speed and position. Similar to other MDD motors with its frame size, this model is also suitable for high-precision applications that demand extreme synchronism. Because of its electronic commutation, it can be used in continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates.
Like other MDD motors, the compact construction of the MDD112D-N-015-N2M-130GA1 allows the motor to have a high power-to-weight ratio. The MDD model has a standard housing design; thus, heat is eliminated via natural convection or surface cooling. To initiate a surface cooling process, it can be connected to either radial or axial blower units. A 14Nm holding brake is available in this motor to stabilize the axis when the machine is disconnected from power. According to DIN VDE 053, the motor is balanced under Class N and is used for normal applications. It also has a nominal motor speed of 1,500 revolutions per minute and can conduct a maximum current of 110.5A. In addition, its ideal ambient temperature range is 0°C to 45°C.
