The Bosch MDD112D-N-015-N2L-130PB0 is a MDD synchronous servo motor. Synchronous motors have their speed synchronized to the input current frequency. Servo motors share feedback – speed and position measurements – with a servo controller. MDD motors support integrated temperature monitoring: the motor shuts off if the winding temperature exceeds a pre-defined threshold. The brushless design and use of life-time lubricated bearings allows maintenance free motor operation. IP65 protection rating – enabled by a sealed housing and connectors – allow motor use under poor environmental conditions. These factors combine to give MDD motors a very high operating reliability.
