Product Description
Bosch Rexroth continues to cause a stir in the drive market as it releases innovative drive and motion control units. It is the designer of the MDD synchronous servo motors used to create rapid-response automation systems with Indramat digital drive controllers.
The MDD112D-N-015-N2L-130PA2 is a Bosch Rexroth servo motor in the MDD series. Its rotor’s permanent magnets are composed of special materials that give it low inertia; hence, it is suitable for high dynamics. This rotor’s moment of inertia is 230 x 10-4 kgm2. The output shaft in the motor is the type with keyway per DIN 6885-1 for form-fitting torque transmission. Like others in the series, it has a shaft sealing ring that keeps fluids from entering through the shaft. Thanks to its sealed housing, it can be used under harsh environmental conditions without the risk of damage. This sealed housing also gives it an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 in line with DIN 40 050. The thermal sensor in its stator monitors its temperature and protects it from irreversible damage due to thermal overload.
Digital servo feedback in the MDD112D-N-015-N2L-130PA2 evaluates its relative indirect position and stores the information in the digital drive. The encoder has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes and uses the optical measurement system to achieve high-level precision. Its data memory stores the motor type name and control loop parameters, ensuring the motor’s rapid startup and its safe adaptation to the drive controller. The centering diameter of the servo motor is 130mm, while its nominal speed is 1,500 revolutions per minute. It also generates a maximum torque of 132.4Nm and tolerates a peak current of 110.5A.
