Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s digital AC servo motors are built to suit a wide range of automation applications. The MDD motors are a group of motion control units by the manufacturer which are compatible with digital drive controllers from Indramat. When combined, they form cost-effective, rapid-response automation systems.
The MDD112D-N-015-N2L-130PA1 is a Bosch Rexroth MDD motor model with a nominal speed of 1,500 revolutions per minute. It can generate a theoretical maximum torque of 132.4 Nm and has a rotor with a moment of inertia of 230 x 10-4 kgm2. This rotor is composed of rare earth and iron oxide magnetic materials; hence, the motor has low inertia and favors high dynamics. It also has high synchronous operation features thanks to the sinusoidal application of current with improved motor feedback resolution. Its encoder system is digital servo feedback with a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes. This encoder has a data memory that supports the rapid startup of the motor and its risk-free adjustment to its digital drive controller since its type name and parameters are stored.
A temperature monitoring system is present in the MDD112D-N-015-N2L-130PA1 to protect it from damaging thermal overload conditions. It is composed of a thermal sensor built into the stator winding to detect specified threshold temperatures and trigger warnings or a shutdown when necessary. Heat is also efficiently removed from the motor by natural convection, giving it a high overload capability. Its Ingress protection rating according to EN 60529 is IP 65, meaning that it is completely sealed and impervious to water sprayed from all directions. In addition, it is coated with a protective black prime varnish resistant to yellowing and chalky residue.
