Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is known for its wide range of industry solutions, with the MDD AC servo motors being one of these. The MDD AC servo motors are permanent magnet excited synchronous motors with electronic commutation. The permanent magnets are made out of rare earth or iron oxide magnetic materials. The motors assure high contouring accuracies at high feed rates, especially when used for cutting at high-speed ranges. These features make them suitable for use in printing and packaging machines, robotics, handling equipment, and transfer facilities.
The MDD112C-N-060-N2L-130PA0 is specially designed for high precision operations where an extreme degree of synchronism is required, like in grinding machines. It is equipped with digital servo feedback, which allows relative indirect position evaluation of position on the motor. There are two necessary electrical connections required to operate the motor. These connections are the power connector which includes a cable for the temperature sensor and the feedback connector. The temperature sensor prevents the motor from getting damaged by thermal overload.
The housing design of the MDD112C-N-060-N2L-130PA0 is per DIN 40050. It protects the motor against contact to high voltage with motor parts either moving or alive, the penetration of extrinsic objects, and the penetration of water. The housing is painted with a black prime coating which is resistant to weathering, yellowing, chalky build-ups, diluted acids, and lyes. The housing also allows the motor to be operated within the working area of the machine as well as under adverse environmental conditions. The motor should be operated at an ambient temperature of 40°C, relative humidity of 95%, and should be set up at a height of 1000 m above mean sea level.
