Product Description
Bosch Rexroth's MDD digital AC servo motors are designed to be used with intelligent drive controllers from Indramat to build cost-effective and rapid response automation systems. These motors are advanced and dynamic motors used across several industries. They guarantee high contouring accuracies at high feed rates, particularly when used for cutting in high-speed ranges. Their areas of application include printing and packaging machines, textile machines, tool machines, robotics, handling equipment, and transfer facilities.
The MDD112C-N-030-N2M-130PB2 features digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn encoder. This encoder allows absolute indirect position detection on the motor and stores it in the intelligent digital drive. The MDD model's output shaft is a shaft with a keyway according to DIN 6885-1 for form-fitting shaft-hub-connections. It also has a 40.0Nm blocking brake for a backlash-free holding of the servo axes when the machine is in a de-energized state. The motor has a nominal speed of 3000 rpm and is suitable for high-precision operations where an extreme degree of synchronism is required, as seen in grinding machines.
Natural convection and surface cooling are suitable cooling methods for the MDD112C-N-030-N2M-130PB2. Its electronic commutation feature allows it to be used for continuous start-stop operations with a high repetitive frequency. The motor’s housing design is standard in line with the guidelines of DIN 40050. It also has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65, meaning it is safe from contact with high-voltage motor parts, either moving or alive. It is also inadmissible to solid extrinsic objects and water jet sprays. The motor should be operated at a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C, relative humidity of 95%, and installed at a maximum height of 1000m.
