Product Description
Bosch Rexroth manufactures safe and reliable products such as the MDD digital AC servo motors. They are permanent magnet-excited synchronous motors with electronic commutation with the magnet acquired from rare earth or iron oxide magnetic materials. There are nine motors in the MDD motor series, all of which have distinct advantages for application-specific functions. They are combined with the Indramat digital drive controllers to create cost-effective and rapid-response automation systems. These motors guarantee high contouring accuracies at high feed rates. They are used in printing and packaging machines, textiles machines, tool machines, robotics, handling equipment, and transfer facilities.
The MDD112C-N-030-N2M-130PB0 is equipped with digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn encoder which permits an absolute indirect position detection on the motor. Its output shaft is a shaft with a keyway according to DIN 6885-1 for form-fitting shaft-hub-connections. This motor has a nominal speed of 3000 rpm and is suitable for high precision operations where an extreme degree of synchronism is required, such as in grinding machines.
The housing design of the MDD112C-N-030-N2M-130PB0 permits cooling by natural convection and surface cooling. It is suitable for continuous start-stop operations with a high level of repetitive frequency and is thus used for operations that involve extreme loads. This design is according to the guidelines of the DIN 40 050 with a protection rating of IP 65. It means the motor is protected against contact to high voltage with motor parts, either moving or alive. The penetration of the motor by solid extrinsic objects and water jet sprays is also prevented. Its housing varnish is a prime black coating that is resistant to weathering, yellowing, chalky buildup, diluted acids, and lyes.
