The Bosch MDD112C-N-030-N2L-130PB1 is a synchronous servo motor. It is part of the MDD series of industrial motors. The motor is deployed in combination with a compatible servo controller. A sensor on the motor known as an encoder measures motor speed and other parameters. Information about motor parameters is sent to the servo controller. In addition to controlling motor parameters, the servo controller provides power for the motor. The power is transmitted via a power cable that terminates on a power socket located on side B of the housing. The output shaft on the MDD112C-N-030-N2L-130PB1 includes a keyway. The keyway prevents relative rotation and facilitates effective torque transfer from the motor to the machine. The motor is supplied with an optional blocking brake.
