Product Description
The MDD series of servo motors are digital AC servo motors that can build economic and rapid-response automation systems. To achieve this, they have to be combined with the digital drive controllers from INDRAMAT. The motors in the series are available in varying degrees of sizes, speeds, and torques. Hence, they can be tailored to suit specific applications where they can be used to obtain optimum results.
The MDD112C-N-020-N2M-130PA2 is a digital AC servo motor model in the MDD family of motors designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is a permanent-magnet motor whose rotor is made from permanent magnets obtained from rare-earth or iron oxide magnetic materials. Because of this, it has low inertia and a favorable torque-inertia ratio that is suitable for high dynamics operations. This MDD motor model has a nominal speed of 2,000 revolutions per minute (revs/min) and a theoretical maximum torque of 97.3 Nm. Its rotor has a moment of inertia of 170 x 10-4 kgm2, while its windings inductance is 5.0 mH.
The encoder system of the MDD112C-N-020-N2M-130PA2 servo motor is digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn encoder. Thanks to this design, using a separate absolute encoder with the motor is not necessary. The encoder system allows the detection of the absolute indirect position of the motor and works using the optical measuring system. The use of the servo motor in areas with adverse environmental conditions will not cause any damage to it as its housing is completely sealed with an IP 65 rating based on the DIN 40 050 standards. It is also coated in black prime paint that is resistant to weathering. This product can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
