Product Description
Some of the key features of a powerful servo motor include a wide speed range, impressive torque generation, and precise encoder systems. These and more are found in the MDD family of digital AC servo motors designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth.
The MDD112C-N-020-N2L-130GA0 is a model of Bosch Rexroth’s MDD motors. It has a high cyclic load capacity that allows continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. Its brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings allow it to be used maintenance-free. These bearings have a nominal operating lifetime of 30,000 hours and support the application of high radial loads and the direct attachment of pinions and belt pulleys to the shaft. The output shaft of this model is the standard plain type with a shaft sealing ring, and it promotes the backlash-free and non-positive transmission of torque. Natural convection is the suitable cooling method for the MSK motor based on its housing design. In the cooling method, heat is dissipated to the ambient air and the walls of the machine.
According to EN 60529, the housing of the MDD112C-N-020-N2L-130GA0 is sealed and has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65. As a result, it is safe to use in harsh environmental conditions with minimal risks of damage. The motor’s centering diameter is 130mm, and its nominal speed is 2,000 revolutions per minute. Built with digital servo feedback, its speed and position can be accurately determined and controlled. This encoder uses the optical measuring principle to evaluate the motor’s relative indirect position and eliminates the need for the use of separate incremental encoders. It also has a data memory where relevant information about the motor is saved.
