Product Description
Bosch Rexroth constantly creates state-of-the-art drive and motion control units, causing a stir in the drive market. Its MDD servo motors form rapid-response automation systems when combined with digital intelligent drive controllers from Indramat. They also ensure high contouring accuracies at high feedrates.
The MDD112C-N-015-N2M-130PR1 is a synchronous servo motor in the MDD series by Bosch Rexroth. It is best suited for high-precision applications where maximum synchronism is required, as seen in grinding machines. Its compact build gives it a high power-to-weight ratio and simplifies its installation. This motor can be installed in any orientation and permits the direct attachment of pinions and belt pulleys to the shaft. Its design makes it possible to apply high radial loads and prevents the penetration of solid external materials, including dust and multidirectional water jets. The motor’s output shaft with keyway per DIN 6885-1 allows a form-fitting torque transmission. It also comes with a shaft sealing ring to prevent harmful fluids from entering through the shaft.
Cooled by natural convection and surface cooling, the MDD112C-N-015-N2M-130PR1 displays a high overload capability. It also supports extreme loads because of surface cooling. Electronic commutation in the motor grants it a high cyclic load capacity so that it is suitable for applications like continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. Its nominal speed is 1,500 revolutions per minute, while its permissible peak current is 82.6A. The MDD motor has a brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings; hence, it allows maintenance-free operation. These bearings have a nominal service lifetime of 30,000 operating hours. Operating the motor requires an ambient temperature range of 0oC to 40oC with a maximum installation height of 1,000m.
