Product Description
When Indramat digital drive controllers are combined with powerful digital AC servo motors designed by Bosch Rexroth, highly functional rapid-response automation systems are formed. The MDD servo motor family is a group of such AC motors, and they are commonly used in robotics, textile machines, and handling equipment.
The MDD112C-N-015-N2L-130PA1 is a model of the MDD servo motors designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is specially built for highly dynamic operations where a high torque density is required. Examples of such applications are roller feeds for pressing, punching, and nibbling machines and tool-changing devices. The motor’s encoder is digital servo feedback for detecting its relative, indirect position. For a high degree of precision, the encoder uses the optical measurement method and has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes. Thanks to its data storage feature, the rapid start-up of the motor is guaranteed, as well as its risk-free adjustment to its drive controller.
Due to the brushless design of the MDD112C-N-015-N2L-130PA1 and its bearings that remain lubricated throughout their service life, it can be operated maintenance-free. Its output shaft is a plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring to ensure backlash-free and non-positive torque transmission. The rotor of this MDD motor model has a moment of inertia of 170 x 10-4 kgm2, and its permanent magnets are made from iron oxide materials. The motor’s nominal speed is 1,500 revolutions per minute while its peak current rating is 82.6A. Its housing is completely sealed and has an IP 65 Ingress Protection rating. This means that it is touch-proof, dust-proof, and impenetrable by water jet sprays. As a result, it can be safely operated in poor environmental conditions.
