Product Description
The MDD motors are permanent magnet synchronous motors designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. They are designed to create rapid-response automation systems that are obtained when combined with intelligent digital drive controllers from Indramat. The applications of drives where these MDD motors are used are handling equipment, transfer facilities, robotics, machine tools, and printing and packaging machines.
The MDD112B-N-040-N2M-130PB1 is a servo motor in the MDD series with a low inertia thanks to iron oxide or rare earth materials. It has high dynamics due to its favorable torque to inertia mass ratio and a high overload capacity. The heat from the motor’s stator windings is effectively transferred to the walls of its housing, and its thermal sensors protect it from potentially harmful temperatures. It is balanced in terms of balance class N according to DIN VDE 0530 and has a shaft with a shaft sealing ring and keyway according to DIN 6885-1. The shaft sealing ring prevents the penetration of the motor housing by liquids.
The nominal speed of the MDD112B-N-040-N2M-130PB1 is 4,000 revolutions per minute, and its theoretical maximum torque is 65.5Nm. Its rotor’s moment of inertia is 120 x 10-4 kgm2, and its winding inductance is 1.5mH. The bearings of this motor are designed for high radial loads and remain lubricated throughout their service life of 30,000 operating hours. With its brushless design, it can be operated maintenance-free, thereby conserving cost without a decline in operational efficiency. The encoder system here is digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn encoder. It ensures the quick and easy startup of the motor and promotes its safe adaptation to its drive controller.
