Product Description
The Bosch Rexroth MDD112B-N-040-N2M-130GA0 is a MDD series synchronous servo motor. Permanent magnets are used for motor construction. MDD motors support electronic commutation, which uses semiconductor switches to turn stator windings on and off at the appropriate time. MDD motors offer maintenance-free operation. Operators can use MDD motors within the working area of the machine under adverse environmental conditions. An integrated temperature sensor on the windings helps to prevent overload damage. MDD motors are available either with or without a blocking brake. The MDD112B-N-040-N2M-130GA0 does not include the brake. The output shaft is available in two different designs: as a plain shaft for non-positive shaft-hub connections and shafts with keyways for form-fitting shaft-hub connections. The output haft on the MDD112B-N-040-N2M-130GA0 motor is plain. The standard IP65 rated housing of the servo motor is suited to natural convection and surface cooling.
Nominal speed rating of the servo motor is 4000 RPM. The motor supports digital servo feedback and features an integrated multiturn absolute encoder. Support for feedback allows motor use with a servo controller. Typical MDD motor applications include tools, textile, printing and packaging machines, as well as robotics. With natural convection, the continuous torque at standstill is 17.5 Nm and the continuous current at standstill is 41.5 Amps. With surface cooling, the continuous torque at standstill is 29 Nm and the continuous current at standstill is 68.8 Amps. Shipping weight of the servo motor is 36 kilograms. The cable carrying electrical power for the motor connects to a socket on side A of the housing. The connectors for the power and feedback cables need to be ordered separately. The motor centering diameter is 130 millimeters.
