Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MDD digital AC servo motors are permanent magnet-excited synchronous motors with numerous applications. They can be combined with drive controllers from Indramat to create cost-effective and rapid-response automation systems. There are different models in this series with different degrees of torque and speed. They are used in printing and packaging machines, textiles machines, tool machines, robotics, handling equipment, and transfer facilities.
The MDD112B-N-030-N2M-180PB0 is equipped with digital servo feedback. This is an integrated encoder system for the relative indirect recording of the motor's position. The recorded motor position is then stored in the intelligent digital drive. This model of the MDD series is particularly suited for operations that require high precision, like grinding machines. Its output shaft is a shaft with a keyway, according to DIN 6885-1 for form-fitting shaft-hub-connections. The motor is maintenance-free and has a high degree of operational reliability. It has a nominal speed of 3,000 rpm and a centering diameter of 180mm.
With its compact design, the MDD112B-N-030-N2M-180PB0 has a high power-to-weight ratio. It also has high overload capabilities due to efficient heat conduction from the stator windings to the outside wall of the motor housing. The motor housing is designed according to the guidelines of the DIN 40050. This design permits surface cooling and allows it to be used for operations that involve extreme loads. The housing is painted in prime black and is immune to weathering, yellowing, chalky build-ups, diluted acids, and lyes. This MDD motor has a protection rating of IP 65; hence, it is protected against contact with high voltage with motor parts either moving or alive, penetration by extrinsic objects, and water jet sprays.
